It's a simple but effective revenge thriller; lean, mean, and only 90 minutes long. Extremely violent too. If you like the idea of watching Nazis meet their end in various bloody, explosive ways, then you will have a great time with it. When an ex-soldier who discovers gold in the Lapland wilderness tries to take the loot into the city, Nazi soldiers led by a brutal SS officer battle him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this mix, it is engrossing, dynamic, makes very good use of the surround channels, and has deep low end. The issue I have with this release is – where is the Atmos mix that was designed for the theater run of the film? Or where is the Atmos mix that is available on the digital version of the film? As great as the 5.1 mix is, Lionsgate has dropped the ball here not including the Atmos audio mix. The Supplements A very narrow window between the US theatrical release and the disc release - this is great fun. Filmed up in Lapland, where I work.
