About this deal

Ironically, that’s also the hand you’d hold a bow with, as the leather would protect your forearm from being chafed by the bowstring when you release an arrow. It’s also got to be challenging to fire a bow with a few pounds of squawky raptor clenched on one arm… I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. I need the newsies kids, the space person, and a bunch of falconers. What a bunch of winners in this set! While the minifigure is good, his accessory is the highlight. The new koala element is absolutely delightful, faithfully recreating the marsupial's large nose and ears. The moulded arms are clever in particular, as these can firmly grip the provided plant stem. This stem has not been produced in lime green before, so is another welcome addition.

Quite a decent lineup. I might buy the Robot Warrior, Falconer and Brown Astronaut pre-sorted separately. The Robot Warrior colors are a very strange combo to me. They should have gone with something more vibrant for the base other than white. Not a figure I want more than one of. Those are pretty good, I would add Bride of Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula and a Nosferatu (guy and gal)." NOTE: The LEGO® Group provided this set for free. However, the provision of products does not guarantee a favorable review. I will provide my honest opinion about these characters. A note on distribution…

Additionally, I think the bright red hair is ill-suited to a mediaeval minifigure, as this shade seems dyed rather than natural. Maybe dark orange could have returned instead, having last appeared in 2014. The dark tan bow and accompanying falcon are also exclusive. This bird includes very little decoration, although the mould alone captures ample detail and I love the yellow beak. Another, more recent, Castle faction is represented by the Orc. Trolls appeared in various sets from the Fantasy Era subtheme, distinguished by their sand green skin, pronounced lower teeth and rugged equipment. Olive green replaces sand green for this minifigure, although the leather straps and updated Troll emblem are recognisable from the faction introduced in 2007. A treat for LEGO® fans – These exclusive and limited-edition minifigures make a durable gift for a kid who deserves a reward

I always love when Collectible Minifigures series include characters from eras where we’re unlikely to ever get full LEGO sets or themes, and the Rococo Aristocrat is a perfect example. I can hardly imagine LEGO making a Louis XV theme, yet here we are with a noblewoman straight out of Versailles. My wife is convinced she’s based on Carlota from the 2004 Phantom of the Opera movie, and I have to admit there’s a stunning resemblance. She features the second-ever use of the 2×4 footprint dress piece, which previously was exclusive to the Queen in Series 15. CapnRex101 said: "Among various LEGO quality issues, improving the consistency of printed colours must be a priority." But what really brings it home for me are the Football Ref and the Newspaper Kid, the latter winning first prize. This is my favorite character in the Minifigures Series 24 feel guide. It had me from the first picture. The jaw piece with the added ears and teeth is simply amazing. Additionally, the new take on the 2009 Trolls faction emblem is a wonderful Easter egg. I fully intend to go out and buy several more of these just so that I can have an army of orcs at the ready.I don’t think they triple-mold any legs at the moment. The short legs you refer to always have shorts and shoes in the same color, and are most likely dual-molded with just a band of color formed around the center of each leg. If they were actually triple-molded, we should have seen some tri-colored examples by now. Hopefully the accompanying Spacebaby would avoid such disappointment, as this tiny figure is absolutely adorable! The combined torso, legs and arms element is consistent with other LEGO babies, while the head, helmet and air tanks comprise a single new piece. Additionally, a printed baby monitor is supplied and retains the familiar style of Classic Space technology, which is truly ingenious.

Must be pretty hard to blend in when you can be instantly recognized as a spy because of the color of your suit... Ah. In the US, the majority of people probably never shop at a greengrocer, and a huge chunk of the population pluralizes with an apostrophe (and persistently mixes up homonyms, and persistently spells commonly used words wrong, and…), so nobody refers to it by a specific name." She may say that to you. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that the spaceman may also have some connection to her cool dad, AP. That Football Referee is freaking AMAZING!!!! I am a young referee (primarily I’ve reffed basketball, but football is my favorite sport) and am so hyped to get this minifigure!!! Maybe we’ll get some other referee type of minifigures in the future. Ah. In the US, the majority of people probably never shop at a greengrocer, and a huge chunk of the population pluralizes with an apostrophe (and persistently mixes up homonyms, and persistently spells commonly used words wrong, and…), so nobody refers to it by a specific name.

Unless you’re buying some sort of seasonal variety, or from one of the rare bulk dispensaries that have every color of the rainbow, M&M’s don’t come in purple, and neither come in pink.

I need the Aristocrat. Her wig is great. I thought her skirt had been discontinued after its only previous use on the S15 Queen! That horse girl has to be one of the worst they’ve done though. Reused generic head (reused asset in CMF is never good..) and they refuse to make that hair in other colors for a CMF.. " Beside robots, costumes and mediaeval minifigures, the Conservationist could be considered mundane! Nonetheless, this minifigure includes splendid detail, with the Wildlife Rescue symbol recently featured in LEGO City adorning the hat and torso. Designed for Dustin Henderson in 75810 The Upside Down, the combined hat and blonde hair element looks excellent. Inevitably, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby have dominated discussion around this whole series of Collectable Minifigures. The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome.

Those are pretty much boilerplate responses, at this point. It doesn’t matter what the basic theme is, every CMF series has been called both. Even S1 was, by default, since anyone who claimed S2 was the best when it released was implying that S1 was the worst of the pair. Technically it should be Farmers’ Market… as the farmers is plural (a market for multiple farmers) but as it is “theirs” then it’s possessive so the apostrophe should be after the s as it’s farmers’s market… so second s is dropped LEGO has finally revealed the next wave of LEGO Collectible Minifigures with Series 24, featuring 12 new minifigures to collect, from a new Brown Spaceman (and Space Baby!) to a T-Rex Costume Fan, and more! I'm going to have to just buy a box to get them all. The first time ever. NOT an incentivised review!"
