It has a strong projection for the first 1-2 hours, but it stays on the body lingering for hours with a moderate sillage. overall, i think its alright but just fails in what intense or the others in the line do way better with the almond theme. My only fear is that I won't be able to wear this for functions that will last for more than 6-8 hours since the scent fades quite quickly after that, unless you reapply of course. The DNA is similar to the original EDT and the note of cherry makes it very sexy, and very interesting. In the final stage of this composition, the rugged manliness is sealed by the enchanting aroma of cedarwood, coupled with the sharp notes of vetiver.

Starts off with a little citrusy-herbaceous kick, a sweet almond mid and a leathery-woody base; overall an attractive aromatic scent with good versatility. It's like a tuxedo fragrance for me, can't wear it all the time, but it always blows me away the few times I do. However the cherry🍒 is too syrupy for me, it literally smells like cherry syrup for a while in the mid and then the vanilla comes around and it turns a bit heavy for my taste (I'm not a fan of vanillas, they either hit or miss for me), also the incense is strong when it dries and I've recently realized I can't take incense notes on my skin, they turn my stomach a bit. I'm not saying it's the best smelling of the line(Extreme and L'intense for me), but this is the most balanced and easily wearable in any season aside from high summer heat.The fragrance has a backbone of tonka and cedar which provides structure, and a mild leather which breathes a masculine life throughout the longevity. I find the cherry note very gentle in the background not at the forefront, kinda disappointed in this if I’m being honest, I expected it to be a little stronger. I'm new to Guerlain and this has quickly become one of my most favorites and most beautiful scents I own. nice orange/mandarin/almond/tonka note that stays throughout the duration of the scent at least for the first 6 hours.

As the scent progresses, the amaretto accord stays through, with some additional backbone provided by a woody note (cedar) and a very faint and slightly sour leather accord which give some more legs to this scent - on me it lasts around 5/6 hours, not the best performance in class. It's perfectly well rounded by leather and sandalwood in the base which make it the perfect amount of sweet but not cloying. Just glad I bought a back 100ml of the old formulation as I suspect the new one has lost a lot of the performance from before. Not for the brutish amongst us, as some assert that this potion will actually remove the tangled hair from your chest and other places on your person where it grows unseemly, and will smooth out the rougher edges of your personality.Top notes are Citruses, Orange Blossom, Rosemary and Bitter Orange; middle notes are Almond and Tonka Bean; base notes are Leather, Cedar and Vetiver. Try it because it's a quality scent (more niche than designer) which can compete with fragrances like TF Lost Cherry or PDM Herod.
