I shot 25 yards at our local indoor range (farthest distance available indoors here) with the bipod resting on the shooter bench. As other reviewers mentioned it is a bit stiff at the start but loosed up nicely with only minor manipulation and remember it is designed to be used on an x lb. It's also one of the few bipods that ditches all external fixtures, springs, and fasteners, offering a smaller footprint than others when stowed.

I bought a Tier one tactical bipod, but have found that the legs flop down too easily which is a pain when doing the final approach. I had a good look one early morning several days later but even after looking in all the ditches drew a blank.
