The thing I don't like is that the compilers have taken on them selves to turn some of the illustrations into wallpaper style patterns, but while I don't like it I don't disapprove and other people may appreciate it, I just feel the illustrations are strong enough in their own right without added ornamentation. I know this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but bear in mind that these illustrations were created 150 years ago and were not created for the purpose of colouring but rather to tell the story and the texture that has been added is actually really useful in showing which areas are light and dark and this can really aid colouring especially for newbies. In the original film, he has stripes of pink and purple, and you could go for similar colors for a screen-accurate Cheshire Cat. If you don't know how to trace I'm sure there's a web site out there that will show you, or even a craft book, and once learnt who knows what other uses you could employ it for.
