Dewy violets make me want this to be a transparent liquid with violet tint coming out of transparent iced glass with extra satin finish and heavy leather cap (guerlain original insolence bottle with lighter color of the juice would match my visual associations, as well as Feminité du Bois's bottle and juice color).

Then the leather note becomes deeper, more rounded and I get a wet, dewy, but still powdery violet and other flowers.In contrast to the bottle, the cap pays homage to Alaïa’s pure craftsmanship – a spool of thread made of zamak and pink gold. It indeed smells like "olfactory crowd noise" as Turin put it - like you're at a social gathering and you get whiffs of various fragrances yet only vaguely and nothing dominates (no Poison at this party). Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

I am impressed, I applaud the designers both in the notes and the bottle and I have already put a FB on my wish list for Christmas. Unfortunately I also think that Azzedine Alaia or any other designer has tied hands concerning raws materials, costs and production. Immediately after receiving it, I didn't understand where all the enthusiastic reviews were coming from - I didn't like it.

It's addictive, but it has the unpleasant association of a caged animal repeatedly pressing a bar for an unhealthy treat. For those who want to try an atypical feminine leather scent, I would recommend testing it, but for my skin, it is much too acrid. Top notes are Pink Pepper and Mountain Air; middle notes are Peony, Freesia and Rose; base notes are Leather, Violet and White Musk.

And it’s ever so slightly reminiscent of L’eau d’Issey, of course less aquatic and citrusey, but similar in vibe. With that said, it's also admittedly blended to perfection and, because of this, really nice to wear.Very peculiar and unmistakable scent — impossible to mistake it for another perfume, except for Aqua Fahrenheit, maybe. At the same time, my skin amps up the flowers quite a lot, so funnily enough, it smells like a spring perfume also. In fact this is a sensual aquatic centered on rose with pepper and surrounded by mild musks and aqua or melony notes.
