About this deal

The instructions packet said to not over feed them, only feeding them every two days, using the provided food. It is a long process for kids to understand but I think it is good for them to get to grips with looking after a pet.

I’m not sure if that’s a good amount or if Alby spilling some of the powder on the table limited to the number of babies that could grow but the kids were happy. However 2 feeds later and plenty of air pumping we now have what do actually look like cute little water dragons. Other than that, and sometimes using the provided droplet to add a bit of air into the bottom of their tank, they are super easy to care about pets! From the crustacea family, Aqua Dragons look like tiny three-eyed, long-tailed, hairy-headed dragons that grow up to 2cm long.Doing this will allow any eggs that are still in the aquarium to hatch and you can watch the life cycle of the aqua dragons all over again. Aqua Dragons need to be a warm part of the house to allow them to grow so the ideal seasons to start them off are Spring and Summer when it is wamer and the sun is shining. Fast forward a week, and both Amelia and Robin are checking on these Aqua Dragons often, looking at them in their little tank.

Includes ownership certificate, full instructions and fascinating booklet about Aqua Dragons which have been on Earth for millions of years! If the water goes murky from feeding them then leave it for 24 hours with no food and the water will get clearer and ready for some more food. a packet of food, a pipette to aerate the tank, a feeding spoon and a magnifying glass so you can keep an eye on your little dragons. After 2 weeks we have around 20-30 swimming around but they are still small for now and look a little like I would expect nits too rather than dragons. or you are thinking about getting some either for yourself or a child then here is everything you need to know, from what they are to how to keep them alive, plus our review. Supervise your kids, if you overfeed or try and rush the hatching process, it will fail like so many other people have said. Should the aqua dragons reach the end of their life cycle you can, if you wish, leave the tank on the side and allow the water to evaporate and then add fresh water.

Their scientific name is Artemia Salinas, and they have been living in the sea and salty lakes for millions of years; right back to the time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth! The instructions were easy to understand however, I would recommend you read the instructions fully before you start as half way through it tells you the water should be bottled not tap! Care for them properly and you will see the long tailed, hairy headed 2cm long Aqua Dragons eat, grow, swim, play and even reproduce! I bought these for my partner (40 going on 12) as a bit of fun for christmas after she mentioned that they looked "really cool" after seeing them online.
