The keys themselves feel very stable; there's a bit of wobble from the larger keys, but it isn't distracting during typical use. The GMMK 2 is the successor to the GMMK (so not the GMMK Pro; that’s a different product line altogether) and it takes aim at that very competitive mid tier market.

That last one has the key clusters closer together and sacrifices some keys for the smaller form factor but it still has the numpad and functionality you’d expect from a full-sized board, which I like. Although the keycaps are textured ABS rather than PBT, they're doubleshot and feel much higher quality than the ABS keycaps found on the previous version of this keyboard, the GLORIOUS GMMK.

I’m torn between getting the GMMK Pro pre built which comes with fox switches which I think are supposed to be pretty good, or getting a GMMK 2 shell and some switches, I’ve read Panda switches are nice but not sure if they are good for gaming. The integrated plate holds them firmly in place, eliminating the need to solder as well as preventing dust from reaching the PCB. If you’re rocking the GMMK 1 and you like the platform there’s no need to hesitate if you’re wondering whether or not it’s worth it to upgrade: it definitely is. Unofficially, we confirmed the keyboard also works with PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Android. When I look for a board to bring around with me, I want a board that will not fail on me, is fun and satisfying to use to keep me productive and sparks joy.This profile creates a nearly flat top, with the keys all pretty much level yet sporting a cylindrical bow to meet the curve of your fingers. We purchased the pre-assembled, full-size unit in black, which comes with linear GLORIOUS Fox switches.
