The only reason I did not give 5* is I now have 3 kayaks because one of them puncture and they are a little bit challenging to patch so I bought another one.

Only the rest of the air has to be pressed out a little bit while folding up or taking care that there are no sharp objects on the floor that could damage it.I have only had one outing, the Kennet and Avon canal, but like you I plan to get in some coastal paddling as well, when conditions are suitable of course.

The only thing I found was that the wedge for the tip of the kayak wasn't quite long enough so I still couldn't reach and push against with my feet, but this is my height issue, not an issue with the kayak.
