I discovered the author through her insta posts and I really enjoyed the poems I heard there unfortunately the ones I already knew also were the ones I liked the most in this book and the rest couldn't keep up. Every word turns into an emotion, and in each of her books that I have read her pages made me discover pieces of my heart. She was reading one of her pieces and it touched me as it was written about a topic that hit close to home.The author's writing style was poetic and evocative, creating a world that came alive in my imagination. I loved Climate and recommend it to anyone in generation z who is familiar with the storms of this life. We understand that not everyone can donate right now, but if you can afford to contribute, we promise it will be put to good use. I find a lot more inspiration when I’m in a dark place in my life and I don’t want that to be the only time I feel inspired. If your going through a healing process or just need something with a peace of mind this is definitely a must have.

So, I think that’s probably changed my writing a little bit, but I’ve tried to keep it as authentic as possible. I read a book by Rupi Kaur and that gave me the perspective that poetry could be anything I wanted it to be. But as Whitney’s poems show, all of these rests and pauses in the music are part of the composition of life, and it is only by moving through the variations that we can find the harmony and grace that come with healing.
