Famous entertainer Jimmy’s cameo role will be filmed on location in North Wales in June and he was recently involved in a photo shoot alongside the central character Womble, played by actor Tom Spencer. There were articles in the North Wales Daily Post and in the Rhyl Journal about the entertainer’s role in the film.

Children and adults affected by Asperger’s Syndrome have difficulty with social interactions and exhibit a restricted range of interests and/or repetitive behaviours. Womble,one of the biggest independent movies to be made in North Wales, is being shot over the summer and will be set for release in 2016. Jimmy added: “There was also a great contribution from dancer Stevie Jaxx who performed an energetic and agile routine, all the more remarkable as in the lead-up to the show he was bed-laden with flu.

Also on the recent show was Stevie Jaxx and Paula Martine, alongside young performers from their Popstarz Academy.

Also at the promotional event, which was held at the Bojangles Theatre, home to the Middleton Popstars Academy in North Manchester, were director Lee Howard, co-writer and actress Gemma Jones, and fellow actress Georgina Ford.
