Welcome to the magic of eyebrow tinting, where a few minutes with an at-home tinting kit and some detailed instructions will give you semi-permanently dyed brows that can last anywhere from one day to three weeks. Yup, you'll literally be able to say you woke up like this. Let's get into what you need to know. How do you use eyebrow tinting kits?

Combinal Brow & Lash Tint

RefectoCil Blonde Brow is a unique bleaching paste for brows, suited for the sensitive eye area, allowing lightening for up to three shades. The usage is absolutely safe if you adhere to the maximum application time of 20 minutes. Plus the formula is especially developed for brows and shows much less redness then the usage of traditional bleaching pastes. Step 3: Apply a small amount of Intensifying Primer to the brow area for an even, intense result. Leave for 4 minutes and then remove with a dry cotton swab. Leave to dry for 4 minutes. The perfect technique for a natural, feathery look, this shading technique emphasises the middle and tail of the brow while keeping a soft look at the front. Step 5: Squeeze out the same amount of Activator Gel as the Base Gel and apply with a fresh brush. Leave for 1 minute before removing with a wet cotton pad followed by a dry cotton swab. Brows should always fit to the hair colour, however, they don’t have to be exactly the same. For example if you have customers with lighter hair shades, brows should be one shade darker to create a frame for the face. For customers with very dark hair, brows can be adjusted to this colour or can even be a little bit lighter. Dark Hair and dark brows can create a very dominant look. Lighter brows will soften the face contours. Step 2: Map your client’s new brow shape using the RefectoCil Brow Mapper pencil, making sure to leave out the front area and set a boundary line. Step 4: Dispense a pea-sized amount of your chosen Intense Brow[n]s Base Gel into a dish and evenly apply tint on eyebrows and skin, keeping within your mapped area. Leave for 2 minutes before removing with a dry cotton swab. Leave to fully dry for a further 4 minutes.

Applied after your Base Gel, this RefectoCil developer uses Silver Nitrate to gently activate the tint from within the lash and brow hairs to reveal long-lasting, intense colour.
