This rests on the shoulders of early 2000 giants like Ck One, Van Gils Basic Instinct and the likes. It projected really well for about 3 hrs with very good sillage, and i could still get strong whiffs and compliments after 8hrs.
The woodiness in this is coming from that cedar and the stifling nature of cedar trees is doing no favors. For some reason, the composition reminds me of a green apple lollipop or popsicle, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It's just not the type of fragrance that you want to smell fresh all day long (or you can, but need to apply 2-3 times per day). Anyways this whole thing just smells like those nameless replicate bottles with a handwritten sticker made by street perfumers. Lacoste perfumes and aftershaves include sporty and luxurious scents to suit every mood, from their iconic Lacoste Touch of Pink to Live Male and Lacoste L. Una salida cítrica no tan dominante levemente moderada, ya cuando decanta y se estabiliza ( al menos en papel ) tiene algo menos genérico pero no logro descifrar que es , por lo único que destaco este aroma en por la versatilidad, es simplemente para no oler a nada, fragancia tibia sin personalidad pero usable si lo que vas a hacer es algo donde no debes destacar, la usaría para post gym o una caminata de verano. I'm surprised to see the sudden increase in interest of this one, as shown on the Fragrantica graph above.If you want a great summer/spring scent you can use for the gym, work, school, or just casual wear then this is a great choice that does not smell cheap and won't offend anyone. It has a little bit of a tropical, suntan lotion vibe, but don't get me wrong, this is a very good quality white floral freshie. Smells like Mont Blanc Legend Spirit except the Lacoste one doesnt have the extra sweet and marine notes. This is a TRUE breath of fresh air (for men, at least) among a wave of all the aquatic, sporty and fresh scents, so prevalent these days. It essentially smells like a slightly masculine take on luxury hand cream, like the toiletries you might find in a nice hotel.The bottles are sleek and minimalistic with a distinctive logo of the brand - the famous crocodile embroidered cloth. I sprayed a small amount on my wrist yesterday night and yet smell was present in the morning and I had washed my hands couple of times in between as well. I also found it strangely apropos that the GREEN and BLUE bottles were translucent and the one for WHITE was opaque. Unfortunately, I wore it again recently and came to the realization that the performance is just terrible. There are no heart notes I sense, after the floral notes fade, the fragrance stays consistently grapefruit.
